Long before the titles and credentials, she was creating, building, and finding ways to turn ideas into something real. Entrepreneurship was not something she discovered later in life. It had been part of her journey from the beginning.
Growing up, Kristy watched her mother do hair and saw firsthand how caring for a woman's hair could become so much more than a service. Around the chair, there was connection, conversation, confidence, and transformation.
So when Kristy found her own place in the beauty industry, it felt familiar. Over the years, it became a space to serve women, build businesses, educate professionals, create opportunities, and gain experience that would eventually reach far beyond the beauty industry.
Behind everything Kristy has built is something much simpler: a genuine desire to help people.
Whether giving her time, sharing what she knows, opening a door, or helping someone get back on their feet, Kristy believes what we have should make room for someone else to move forward too.
That heart led to the creation of HYPE TN, a nonprofit born from a desire to help women and young people who had lost hope, confidence, or simply needed support finding their way forward. Through mentorship, education, wellness, and opportunity, the vision has always been to help women and young ladies recognize who they are, discover what is possible, and become everything God created them to be.
That same heart for women led Kristy to create GLAM Life 4 God, a sisterhood where women could have a safe place to grow in their faith, heal, rediscover their identity, build meaningful relationships, and walk confidently in who God has called them to be.
She is a believer who has learned to trust God with the unfolding of her journey, even when the next step did not look like what she expected. Her faith has shaped how she serves, how she leads, how she gives, and how she approaches what she builds.
Kristy is a wife of 22 years and a mother of five.
She is that mom. The mompreneur who knows what it is like to build a business while raising a family, serve clients while managing a household, pursue a vision while still wanting to be present for the people who matter most.
There have been seasons of building and seasons of adjusting. Seasons when business demanded more and seasons when family did. She understands that pursuing purpose does not happen in a vacuum. Real life is happening at the same time.
Perhaps that is part of why helping people move forward matters so much to her.
Her journey has expanded through beauty, entrepreneurship, hair and scalp wellness, education, coaching, ministry, and community service. Not because every chapter was mapped out from the beginning, but because she continued following where she believed God was leading and using what was already in her hands.
More than 25 years into her professional journey, Kristy is still learning, building, teaching, giving, and becoming.
And there's more to the story.
Whether you're interested in her work, want to book a speaking engagement, or are ready to explore hair and scalp wellness, the next step is simple.
